About the event:

From Mark:
Mathew Browne is without a doubt one of the premier night-time photographers in the UK right now. His images are the kind that make you stop and wonder how on earth he captured that. His presentations are always so accessible and full of great advice!

But here is why I really wanted him back at Camversation. He makes the impossible feel doable!
Astrophotography often feels like a dark art that requires thousands of pounds of gear and a degree in physics. Mathew proves that is not true. He is fantastic at breaking down the technical barriers and showing you how to capture the Milky Way, the Aurora and dramatic nightscapes using the gear you likely already own.
If you have ever wanted to point your camera at the night sky but did not know where to start you will really enjoy this session.
Mathew will walk us through his workflow We will cover:
The Night Sky: How to photograph the Milky Way, Meteor Showers and the Moon.
The Northern Lights: With the Aurora being so active lately learn exactly how to capture it.
Earth & Space: Capturing the International Space Station,
Gear Demystified: Why you do not need expensive specialist lenses to get stunning results.
Planning & Editing: The secrets to being in the right place at the right time and how to bring those files to life afterwards.
About Mathew Based in South Wales, Mathew is an award-winning photographer who has travelled to nearly 50 countries capturing the world. He is not just a photographer.
