About the event:

Lynne Blount's work has been a sensation on the Camversation Facebook group page! I am extremely pleased that she is able to come along and share her passion and creativity - particularly as these can often be achieved at home or closeby

This is a 3-part series:

14th April 2024,

21st April 2024 &

28th April 2024.

From Lynne:

What does experimentation look like? What other techniques can be used and what sort of images can be achieved from those techniques? How do I process an image?

Part One

In the first of these three presentations I will share my preferred ways of creating expressionist images using the ‘Pep Ventosa’ or ‘In the Round’ technique as well as in-camera multiple exposures. How do I prepare to make ‘in-camera’ multiple exposures and how do I process them? What other creative methods do I employ alongside multiple exposures?

Part Two

What does experimentation look like? How do I process an image?

This session includes a live demonstration in Lightroom and Photoshop. (NB this does not guarantee a great final image it is merely a window into my personal process of experimentation.)

Part Three

An introduction to digital collage. What types of collage can be achieved using either our own images or an image created in AI? How do I find infill images? I will present a short live demonstration in Photoshop showing the processing techniques involved in making a simple digital collage.

Lynne’s award-winning photographs have been exhibited internationally, including in Harlow, London, Birmingham, and Switzerland. Her work has featured in the Royal Photographic Society magazine, FRAMES magazine, and Adrian Lowe's online publication ‘Behind the Seen’.

A single £15 ticket buys access to all events.

This series will be recorded and made available for four weeks after the final event.
