About the event:
I am delighted to welcome back award winning landscape photographer, Justin Minns, to come and speak to the community about his photography. Justin's presentations are always full of beautiful imagery, advice and tips.
About the talk, from Justin:
A year on the coast - During 2015 I spent the year photographing the East Anglian coast, one of my first commissions for the National Trust and a dream job. This presentation takes a look at what is involved in such a project.
“The joy of landscape photography is in the moment. Being a part of nature and witnessing its wonders. The fleeting moments of light that make the heart beat a little faster. The thrill of watching the first light of the day creep over the frozen stillness of a wintry landscape, while the air and my fingers tingle with the cold. The challenge lies in capturing the atmosphere of moments like these in a photograph.”
About Justin:
An award-winning professional landscape photographer - best known for his images of East Anglia - but his work takes him to many parts of the world, creating atmospheric imagery for clients including the National Trust, British Museum and English Heritage.
