An eclectic mix with Ross McKelvey

I am pleased to welcome Ross to come and speak to the community for the first time about his photography. With pictures from different genres there is sure to be something for everyone in this talk!

About the Talk:

"An Eclectic Mix" is a presentation of exhibition standard and award winning images across several genres.  This includes studio portraiture and fine art nude, landscape, nature, sport and creative images.  The talk is not just a display of images - it includes a lot of tips and ideas, from taking to processing the images, and some anecdotes thrown in for good measure.

About & from Ross

Exhibition Photography has been my passion for several years. Since joining a local camera club in approximately 1999, photography has become a real passion for me, and I regularly compete in National and International Photographic Salons - mostly in Print sections. My most successful genre is probably portraiture, but I enjoy everything from landscape to sport, Nature, Still Life and digital composites

I am the holder of 18 FIAP 'best author' Blue Badges, which requires success in most of not all of the individual sections of an International Photographic Salon.  Recently this included gaining the Blue Badge for the prestigious Southampton International 2023 two years in a row.

Ross is  also also the  President and founder of Catchlight Camera Club, Belfast.
