Camversation Explore: The Design Museum and Wes Anderson’s World

A relaxed day of photography and friendship in one of the most visually inspiring buildings in London.

I am so pleased to announce our next Camversation Explore meet-up. This time, we are heading to the stunning Design Museum in Kensington on Saturday 28th February. We have a real treat in store as we dive into the symmetrical and colourful world of the Wes Anderson Archives exhibition.

Our good friend and Camversation legend Polina Plotnikova will be supporting this event. Many of you will know Polina as a wonderful and highly respected photographer with a world-class eye for detail and styling.

What is Camversation Explore?

If you have not joined us for one of these before, the Explore days are all about bringing our community together in the real world. It is a chance to share our passion for photography in a supportive and friendly environment.

What to expect on the day

• Relaxed and Informal: These are not photographic marches or formal workshops. We will start with a coffee and a catch-up at 10:00 AM before heading into the exhibition at 11:00 AM. Think of it as a gentle wander through a beautiful space with like-minded people.

• Supportive Community: While there is not 1-2-1 tuition, you will find that everyone is happy to share a tip or a bit of advice over their shoulder as we look at the exhibits and the architecture together.

• Your Own Pace: The Design Museum is a comfortable, accessible space with lifts to all floors. You can dip in and out of the displays or spend a little longer at a particular spot without feeling left behind.

• The Social Side: Where we can, we love to finish the day with a meal or a drink together. It is often the best part of the day.

Important: Exhibition Tickets

The £10 Camversation registration fee covers the organisation of the meet-up only. It does not include entry to the Wes Anderson exhibition. You must book your own timed entry ticket for 11:00 AM directly via the Design Museum website to ensure you can join the group inside.

Who can come?

These events are very popular and, because we want to keep them manageable and friendly, tickets are limited. While anyone is welcome to register, we do give preference to those of you who have supported our online workshops and presentations. It is our way of saying thank you for being such an active part of the Camversation family.
