Camversation Explore: Edinburgh October 2026

A relaxed day of photography and friendship in one of Britain's most historic cities. I am so pleased to announce our next Camversation Explore meet-up in the beautiful city of Edinburgh this October.

Our good friend Morag Forbes is leading the way for us. Many of you will know Morag as one of the finest creative and multiple exposure photographers currently in the UK. She knows this area incredibly well and has been instrumental in helping us plan a route.

What to expect on the day

• A Full Day Experience: This is a 10:00 am to 5:00 pm event. Most of our meet-ups are usually between 3 to 4 hours, but we have made this one longer to give us all the opportunity to truly enjoy the city and enjoy some time to eat and socialise together too.

• Relaxed and Informal: These are not photographic marches or formal workshops. Think of it as a gentle wander with like-minded people.

• Supportive Community: While there is no 1-2-1 tuition, you will find that everyone is happy to share a tip or a bit of advice over their shoulder.

• Your Own Pace: We will have a basic itinerary and use location sharing on the day, so you can dip in and out or spend a little longer at a particular spot. People are more than welcome to come and go as they please.

• The Social Side: I will be organising an evening meal for those who would like to stay. It is often the best part of the day!

Who can come? These events are very popular and tickets are limited. While anyone is welcome to register, we do give preference to those who have supported our online workshops and presentations. It is our way of saying thank you for being such an active part of the Camversation family.

A note on costs: To keep these days accessible, the ticket covers the coordination and the curated routes. Please note that food, transport, and personal expenses are not included.
