What is Camversation Explore? These are events which help to bring people together to share their passion for photography, in a supportive and friendly environment. When we come together like this, we use it as an opportunity to visit a location (often cities or other areas of interest) and explore the area together.

What can I expect? These are not fast-paced marches or photographic workshops. They are informal events which are designed to be friendly, relaxed, accessible and supportive. Lots of people often offer help or advice, but don't expect 1-2-1 tuition. We always have a basic itinerary or route in mind which is shared ahead of the event, but people often come and go throughout the day to focus on what they feel they would like to get from an area.

We use location sharing throughout the day to ensure people can come and go as they please and no one is left alone.

Where possible, we try to come back together for lunch and also organise an evening meal as a way of relaxing and getting to know each other better!

Who plans them? Where possible, these events are organised by people who know the area very well and have been heavily involved with the planning and preparation of them. Please do feel free to offer any help or advice you can for a location you're interested in! Diane Seddon (who helped so much to get Camversation started!) has said she is able to support and help organise the day.

Who can come? Anyone can register to come to an event, but preference is given to those who have attended workshops or presentations on www.camversation.co.uk. We have to do this as our events are very often over-subscribed!!
