Make Your Images Sing - with Jackie Kramer [Series 1, 2026]

I'm looking forward to sharing Jackie's work with everyone on Camversation. She has been requested by a great many people with the Camversation community, including many of our presenters too!

Make Your Images Sing (Post-processing in Lightroom & Photoshop)

This is a three-part series:

2nd March 2026,

6th April 2026 &

4th May 2026.

In this series, Jackie will introduce you to a variety of techniques in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop that will elevate your images and leave you inspired to delve into your own catalog and add some of your own unique touches.

In sessions 1 and 2 Jackie will walk through the initial steps of her editing process in Lightroom. This involves basic adjustments, cleaning up the image as much as possible, preparing it for addition of textures if appropriate, and applying denoise. She will demonstrate how to select and pair textures with subjects and then how to move into Photoshop and apply them. Jackie will also demonstrate how to incorporate digital ICM into your images for artistic effects and how to have a little fun with blending modes.

Participants will choose from those three methods (adding textures, ICM, and blending magic) to create a masterpiece of their own. In the final session Jackie will offer feedback on your images.

About Jackie

Jackie has been photographing the natural world, with an emphasis on flowers and birds since high school. Jackie's work has received international acclaim for her images and has been published in numerous online and print magazines. Jackie's true passion is to encourage people to live their legacy, which she does primarily through her Facebook group, Phlorography - Artistic Floral Photography, with passionate floral photographers from around the world. She is committed to supporting other photographers and using photography as a medium to build relationships and enrich each other’s lives.

Jackie leads photography tours to gardens in North America and to birding hotspots in Central and South America and also hosts an online academy with classes taught by world renowned photographers.
