Make Your Images Sing - with Jackie Kramer [Series 1, 2026]

I'm looking forward to sharing Jackie's work with everyone on Camversation. She has been requested by a great many people with the Camversation community, including many of our presenters too!

I am absolutely delighted to welcome the wonderful Jackie Kramer to Camversation for her very first presentation with our community. If you have seen Jackie’s work, you know she has a rare gift for turning a floral photograph into a piece of fine art. In this special three-part series, she is pulling back the curtain on the magic she creates in Lightroom and Photoshop.

We have designed this as a progressive workshop so you can develop your skills between sessions:

• The Foundation: How to prep your images in Lightroom, including clean-up, denoise, and preparing for creative overlays.

• Texture and Blending: Jackie’s signature method for selecting and pairing textures with subjects to add depth and mood.

• Digital Artistry: Learning to incorporate digital ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) effects and playing with blending modes for a unique, painterly look.

• Personal Feedback: In our final session, you will have the chance to share a masterpiece you have created using these techniques for Jackie to provide her kind and insightful feedback.

Jackie is more than just a world-class photographer; she is a wonderful soul who truly believes in building relationships through the lens. Her Phlorography community is a testament to how much she cares about helping others grow. I have watched her work, and the way she sees an image evolve is fascinating. Recordings: There is no need to worry if you cannot make a date or simply want to re-watch a specific technique. Each session is recorded and you will have immediate full access to all three recordings for four weeks.

About Jackie

Jackie has been photographing the natural world, with an emphasis on flowers and birds since high school. Jackie's work has received international acclaim for her images and has been published in numerous online and print magazines. Jackie's true passion is to encourage people to live their legacy, which she does primarily through her Facebook group, Phlorography - Artistic Floral Photography, with passionate floral photographers from around the world. She is committed to supporting other photographers and using photography as a medium to build relationships and enrich each other’s lives.

Jackie leads photography tours to gardens in North America and to birding hotspots in Central and South America and also hosts an online academy with classes taught by world renowned photographers.

These talks will be recorded and made available for FOUR weeks after the final event.
