About the event:
Ian Howard has been part of Camversation since the beginning! His wonderful presentations helped to kick off this community almost 4 years ago and he has remained an active member of the Facebook group since. I hold Ian in the highest regard as a photographer and presenter. It is a real pleasure to invite him back to share this thought-provoking topic.

Black and white photography is a genre loved by many people and it has survived the digital era due to the mood and the emotion that these images capture. During this presentation:
We will take a look at the theory of B&W and what makes a good B&W image.
How people process their B&W images and what are some of the tips and tricks for getting the best out of your B&W photography.
Look at some images from initial raw and the associated thought process, to the final B&W image, we take a journey through a portfolio of images to finish the evening.
