Looking Beyond the Obvious by Linda Wevill – 28th May 2025
Linda is a creative photographer and her aim is to achieve a soft painterly effect in her work and to capture the essence of her subject. She wants to express a personal depiction of her environment, looking beyond the obvious, to capture the atmosphere of the scene and the vision she is trying to convey. She enjoys experimenting with techniques, whether in-camera or during processing, and she is always eager to try a new technique to move her photography forward.
In Linda’s presentation she will take us through her photographic journey and how she adapted to her different environments, from living in Devon for 25 years to then spending time in the French countryside and central London.
