If you've seen any of Ian's previous presentations, you'll know his "before and after" shots are a popular part. The feedback is often the same: 'We want to see more of the process!'
 
This NEW talk, The Anatomy of a Photograph, is a session dedicated to disassembling the process behind his photography. It’s a breakdown of his work, answering the common question: "How did you get that shot?" This is your chance to get inside the mind of an experienced photographer and see the real work, from the first thought to the final click.
 
In this session, Ian will discuss:
The Spark: The initial idea, the intended narrative for the shot, and the real-world shooting issues Ian faced on location.
The Vision: How he spots the key compositional aspects of a scene and makes a plan to emphasise them.
The Process: A walk-through from the initial, untouched RAW file to the final, processed image.
The Anatomy: A full review of the decisions behind the processing, explaining how each step served the initial goal.
