Creative Image Editing Workshop Masking in LR and ACR with Nigel French

Masking in Lightroom and Adobe Camera Raw In this session of Creative Image Editing, we’ll explore the sophisticated masking tools in Lightroom Classic and Adobe Camera Raw that allow you to make selective, non-destructive edits to your images. We’ll look at the different types of masks—linear and radial gradient, subject and object, luminance and colour range, as well as the Adjustment Brush. From here, we’ll learn how to create complex masks by adding to, subtracting from, and intersecting with existing masks. We’ll also look at how we can speed up our workflow with AI masking, which is really not as scary as it may sound.
