This workshop demonstrates the techniques and tools necessary to transform photos into artistic illustrations. create beautiful line drawings, refined sketches, and delicate colour washes using Adobe Photoshop. Suitable for all who wish to enhance their artistic workflow.

• Use a variety of filters to compare which makes the type of line drawing you are looking for.
• Along the way you will cover many of the image adjustment features and how they can be used in photo editing.
• Delve into the many settings of the filter tools to see how they can create totally different results.
• And for those of you with a steady hand, we will explore the best methods for tracing.
• Once you have your line drawing, we can look at how to create colour washes – again you will learn many tricks and techniques including a new and in depth overview of the Photoshop Watercolour brushes – I’ll explain how the Kyle Webster watercolour brushes really work – basic watercolour brushes, their settings and modes, what the Wamazing brushes can do, how to use the Add texture and blend brushes to create beautiful colour wash and watercolour backgrounds for your line drawings.
