Affinity Introduction Workshops [2-Part] Celia Henderson
New to Affinity or just getting started or transitioning from Photoshop
A guided tour of the Affinity Interface and understanding the Personas. Setting up the workspace. Exploring the Studios. Interactive walk through the Photographer’s workflow. This workshop will cover the basic workflow for importing RAW and/or jpg image into Affinity, developing raw files and basic adjustments, further edits in the Photo persona, working with layers, adjustment layers and layer masks and a little creative enhancement. And finally cropping and sizing images before exporting.
Session 2:
Those with interest in expanding image editing skills and techniques within Affinity.
Using a range of images as small projects this workshop will cover selections and layer masks. More in depth look at working with layers. Overview of brushes. Setting up grids and guidelines for collages and templates. Affinity has a range of Filters, live filters and standard filters. Working with Layer styles for further enhancements. This workshop will start with RAW files and follow the standard workflow to output.
