Flower Workshops 2025 With Kathleen Clemons
THIS PRODUCT PROVIDES ACCESS TO THE RECORDED SERIES FOR FOUR WEEKS - YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO DOWNLOAD.
Kathleen is a living legend in the world of floral photography and has been widely requested to present to Camversation. It has been a pleasure organising these two presentations from Kathleen, with more to follow we hope!
About the talks:
Part 1 The Art of Flower Portraiture
Kathleen sees her flower photographs as portraits and she will share the equipment and methods she uses to create them. Topics include lens choice, lighting, subject selection, composition, aperture choices, selecting a background and how to simplify a subject to truly capture its natural beauty.
Part 2 Photographing Aged Flowers
As much as Kathleen loves shooting fresh, pristine flowers, she also loves creating photos of aging flowers. As flowers age, they often develop more saturation, an increase in texture, personality, and gain more petal curls. Kathleen will talk about how she photographs them to showcase their uniqueness, subject choice, stages of aging, drying flowers and more.
