About the Talk:

Have you ever wondered the process behind landscape photography? This talk will take you on a journey through the entire process, from planning to print, with plenty of tips and tricks along the way.

From Jack

I am a professional landscape and nature photographer from Dorset on the South Coast of England. I started shooting landscapes in 2017 after exploring travel and street photography at university, where I studied Architecture. Since then, landscape photography has become a huge part of my life and one thing I couldn’t imagine living without.

When the alarm sounds at 4am and I make my way to a mysterious bluebell wood, deep in the Dorset countryside, or scramble along the Jurassic Coast to shoot some dramatic seascapes, it’s a rewarding experience that is seriously hard to beat.

Growing up in Dorset in South West England since a kid, and living in the little market town of Wimborne, I feel extremely fortunate to be surrounded by stunning landscapes, iconic landmarks and magical woodlands right on my doorstep - Dorset really is a real landscape photographers’ playground. One thing that landscape photography has taught me over the years is to make the most of shooting the seasons, waiting for the fresh Spring greens, scouting locations for Autumn colour, or taking shelter from a Winter storm, it’s all part of the landscape photography journey.

Over the past couple of years, I’ve enjoyed capturing and sharing magical moments by doing live videos and behind-the-scene takes on social media, allowing me to bring the landscape photography experience to everyone, no matter where they are in the world. I am extremely grateful to every single one of my loyal followers who have joined me on my landscape photography journey since the start, and without fail, every week, take the time to tune into my live videos and leave heart-warming comments on my photographs.
